My Story
With over 20 years of experience as a US Registered Nurse (RN), I’ve had the privilege of working in many areas of the US healthcare delivery system. My career began in the Telemetry unit and quickly progressed to critical care and and the ER (Emergency Room), where I honed my skills in critical thinking, rapid decision-making and hands-on patient care. Over time, I transitioned into Case Management helping patients and healthcare providers navigate complex systems.
During my career, I took my skills on the road as a travel nurse so I understand the challenges of adjusting to new places and the challenges of navigating unfamiliar systems. That experience is what drives my passion for helping new and internationally trained nurses transition into the US healthcare system with confidence. My diverse background cultivated a deep understanding of adapting to different healthcare environments, and I share that knowledge to help new and foreign-trained nurses become competent and confident US RNs.
My goal is to make the process simpler, clearer, and more accessible, so that talented nurses, in the US and around the world, can achieve their dreams of working as a nurse in the USA!
